Demos & Merchandise

There are various recordings available thru Pranksters Productions.  The only way you can pay for these original songs in the form of CD's, Compilation CD's, and MC's is by postal order. Price includes P&P (£2.50 or $4). We hope to have MP3 demo tracks up and running by the summer. In the meantime however, if you are interested in hiring us, our current covers demo is available for free. This means if you are a manager or landlord of a pub or want to engage us for a private party, just drop us an e-mail with your name, telephone number and street address and we'll send one to you after we have confirmed the sincerity of the request.  Each item sent will include a FREE  JOLLY ROGER GIGGIN' POSTER.

This JOLLY ROGER demo was recorded at the Steam Room Studio in London, 1995.  You can hear it is a low budget production, but it captures the spirit of the band in its early stages of development.  Drums are by Eric Hager and Bass Guitar by Pete Newnam.  Songs included are BREWING UP A STORM, FOOLS IN PARADISE & STONE FREE.  Rockstun's original song FOOLS IN PARADISE is essentially about the futility of war. This new JOLLY ROGER demo starts off with a funky collage of material recorded on Rockstun's 4track and enhanced, re-mastered and fooled about with at Pranksters Productions new 'digital editing suite'.  Most importantly though it features two live tracks recorded at The Queen's Head, 20 November 1997: BLACK MAGIC WOMAN and BORN TO BE WILD.  Guitarist Weaver is in his element!  The 3rd track on the demo - another version of STONE FREE - was recorded at Binary Asylum Studio, London, featuring ace axeman Victor Mendoza, who replaced Weaver on two occasions. Produced by Pranksters Productions.

This compilation CD features JOLLY ROGER, THE B SIDE , THE ROCKSTUN KIDS,  BINARY ASYLUM and F.A.  Due to be released middle of March, so it should be available for mail order by the end of that month.  Check Pranksters Productions website for more info. £8 or $12 (inc.P&P £2.50 or $4)
